How do I record a message?
- Keep the cork in the bottle.
- Turn the bottle over and find the RECORD hole under the base.
- Press it with the red pin, speak toward the base, then release when you're done.
- Put the bottle upright. Pull the cork: your message plays.
Tip: the microphone is in the base, so speak close to the bottom of the bottle, in a quiet room.
How do I play it back?
Just pull the cork. There are no buttons to find, no app and no cables. Put the cork back in and it's ready for the next time.
How long can the message be?
Up to 30 seconds — enough for "Merry Christmas," a short song, a bedtime wish or a few words from someone far away.
What batteries does it need? Does the message stay saved?
It runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included). Your message stays saved until you record over it. When you put in new batteries, you may hear a short built-in greeting: just record your own message over it.
